Dr. Mark Kramarchuk is the medical director of Sprains & Strains Sports Medicine Centre. Dr. Kramarchuk graduated from the University of Toronto in 1993. He is a Sports Medicine Specialist and member of the Canadian Academy of Sport Medicine (CASM) from which he also holds the Diploma in Sport Medicine.He is also an active member of the Ontario Medical Association’s Sports Medicine Section, the Canadian College of Family Physicians, Canadian Medical Association, and he has served as a Consultant Team Physician for the Men’s Canadian National Soccer Team, as well as for various local and community recreational sports clubs and teams. Dr. Kramarchuk’s special interests include biomechanics of the lower extremities and orthotic management as well as assessing and treating all musculoskeletal related injuries.
Marcin Goral B.Sc, PT
Registered Physiotherapist
Marcin is a Physiotherapist ( registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario since 1998) with years of experience in treating orthopedic and sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, and work related injuries. He holds a Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy ( Poland, 1990 ) and has completed several post-graduate courses in Orthopedic Manipulative Therapy, Pain Management Treatment, McKenzie Institute of Canada, as well as Acupuncture.
Grace Bernaga B.Sc, PT
Registered Physiotherapist
Grace has completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy from University of the East, Philippines in 1996, she has over ten years of extensive experience as a Physiotherapist instructor in a private college. Her areas of expertise are Orthopedic (Musculoskeletal and sports related injuries), Neurological and Geriatric rehabilitation, she also has specialized clinical training as well as experience in hospitals, out-patient orthopedic clinics, and Nursing and Retirement Homes. Grace has excellent clinical skills in Manual Therapy, and has taken Post-Grad courses in sports injuries, acupuncture, Mulligan mobilization with movement techniques, taping and therapeutic exercises. Grace believes in eclectic approach in rehabilitation and will continue to upgrade her skills through continuing education so that she can provide the best, efficient and evidenced based therapeutic interventions to help her clients get back to their maximum function. Grace also has strong advocacy for people with disabilities and is currently an active member of University of Toronto’s International Centre for Disability and Rehabilitation, Philippine Working Group.
Lilianna Kaczmarczyk PTAPhysiotherapist Assistant
Lilianna is a Physiotherapist Assistant with a Diploma from the Robetech Institute in Toronto. She has fifteen years experience as a Physiotherapist Assistant working in several medical clinics as well as senior homes across the GTA. Lilianna is excellent in assisting in all areas of Physiotherapy and is familiar with medical procedures and terms.
Vitali Kostevskii RMT, C.A.H.P

Vitali is a Registered Massage Therapist and member of the Ontario Massage Therapy Association. In addition
to his extensive massage therapy experience, he holds a Diploma in Acupuncture and is a member of the
Canadian Society of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. He is a skilled practitioner of therapeutic massage,
myofascial release, cranial sacral therapy and Acupuncture for a variety of sport, work and motor vehicle
related injuries.
Sally Kristo RMT Registered Massage Therapist
Sally Kristo is a graduate from Canadian Therapeutic College in Burlington. She has experience in deep tissue and trigger point therapy, joint mobilization and hydrotherapy. She has worked closely with MVA patients. She is also experienced in pregnancy and infant massage. Sally is still continuing her education by taking professional courses aiming to enhance her knowledge and expertise.
Viktoriya Lipisiy RMTRegistered Massage Therapist
Viktoriya is a graduate of Kikkawa College and registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Viktoriya has an extensive back round in Massage Therapy that enables her to work with a wide range of patients, from MVA, seniors and mobility impaired people, to individuals requiring general stress reduction. Viktoriya employs a variety of techniques, including Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, hydrotherapy and remedial exercise.
Marichie Obusan RMT Registered Massage Therapy
Marichie graduated in 2009 from Everest College in Mississauga. She specializes in deep tissue massage, repetitive musculoskeletal, chronic pain / injuries, pregnancy discomfort, pre & post surgery recovery, sprains/strains, MVA, WSIB injuries, therapeutic and remedial exercise, hydrotherapy, pain management. She is continually upgrading her skills to better meet the needs of her clients.
Ming-Yao Tsou C.M.D., D.A.C. Certified Acupuncturist
Ming is a member of the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada, the Professional Acupuncturist Association of Ontario, the World Association of Chinese Medicine and the Canadian Society of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. He has extensive clinical experiences in MVA rehabilitation and sports medicine as an Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Therapeutic Masseur. He utilizes MRT ( myofascial release Techniques) as well as the OMNIPROBE Laser Biostimulation system that achieves healing results without the use of conventional acupuncture needles. Also uses traditional acupuncture needles.
Rita Patel B.Sc, ND
Naturopathic Doctor
Rita Patel is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She sees patient at Sprains & Strains Wellness Center, at the Campus Health Centre at McMaster University, and makes home visits. She also supervises patient care by fourth year interns at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, and has had an opportunity to work at the Sherbourne Health Center with HIV+ patients and at Anishnawbe Health Toronto. She has a special interest in pain management, weight management, women’s health, digestive health and endocrinology. In addition to seeing patients, she is the professor for physiology at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

Michele Gigliotti has been employed at Sprains & Strains since 2002 as a Medical Administrator. Attended a 1
year course at The National Academy of Health & Business and received my Diploma with Honours. Studied Basic Human Anatomy, Pharmacology, Medical Terminology and Health Administration. Medical Procedures: Blood Pressure & Urine Testing, Blood Sugar Monitoring and Medical Transcription. Medical Insurance: O.H.I.P, W.S.I.B and Extended Health Plans. Computer Operations: York-Med and Abel-Med, Visual Practice, Dictation, Appointment Book Management. Certificates in First Aid, C.P.R. and WHIMIS. Previously held several positions over a 17 year tenure due to progressive career advancement for the family printing business. I received a Diploma in Architectural Drafting and graduated with Honours. Interests are family, soccer, home renovation and decorating.

Verena Lanoue has been with Sprains and Strains as a Medical Receptionist since 2004, re-entering the workforce after a lengthy sabbatical to raise her family. She graduated from Wilfred Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration in 1982 after which she joined Kimberly-Clark as Financial Analyst. Her tenure with this company included Business Analysis and then Product Management positions as several different locations in Ontario and Quebec. Today Verena has a keen interest in the field of natural health and wellness and has gained considerable practical experience in the area of optimal nutrition.
Debbie Parsons
Medical Receptionist
Debbie Parsons, Medical Secretary at Sprains and Strains, began her career working with Braemar, a collection of well recognized fashion retailers, at their head office in their Sportswear / Merchandising department. After a long time with Braemar, Debbie persued a different passion while raising her three boys, and opened her own Child Care Centre. After fifteen years of running her own Day Care Debbie went on to work with Hewlett Packard where she performed various administration duties for all departments of the company. Now working as a Medical Secretary at Sprains and Strains, Debbie enjoys the different faces that greet her every day and the tasks she completes offer her great new challenges and fresh experiences. On her down time, Debbie enjoys spending quality time with her family.
